Ruth Jacobs - Real Photography Company

Ruth has a 1st class Photography BA Hons Degree and 30 years experience in photography, teaching and community arts. She worked at Watershed running photography courses, community projects and dark-rooms and supervised relocation of Watershed's darkrooms to St Pauls Learning Centre in 2005. From 2006 Ruth delivered arts and community engagement programmes at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, Felix Rd Adventure Playground and Monica Wills House, Bristol. She now teaches photography and manages St Pauls Darkrooms, having rediscovered her love for black and white processing.

Wendy Leocque - Real Photography Company
Founder Director
From 2005 – 2014 Wendy was the Darkroom Technician at St Pauls Darkrooms, coordinating all activities at this facility, and from 2015 - 2017 the Darkroom Manager/Technician for the Folk House. She is an experienced tutor, delivering workshops in darkroom skills at several venues. She has a BA (Hons) Degree in Photographic Studies from Derby University and was awarded her MA in Design Management from UCE. She continues to work as a photographic artist, exhibiting her work and teaching  courses.
