John Humphrey


John Humphrey's photographs cover a wide range of subjects, including landscape and portrait. He specialises in close-up, floral and abstract studies using a combination of digital and film images.
John is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society. His pictures have been shown in many exhibitions, including the London Salon of Photography and the International Print and Projected Exhibitions of the Royal Photographic Society.
John runs a range of photographic events including Royal Photographic Society workshops on Macro and Art Photography, Creative Techniques in Photoshop and De-Stress with Photography. He presents 'Behind The Lens' sessions at the UK's annual Photography Show. John also acts as a photography judge and adviser in prestigious international competitions including IGPOTY, the International Garden Photographer of the Year.
John's travel photographs are used for corporate and promotional work, including exhibitions, calendars and advertising. He leads a number of photographic tours, recent trips including China, Malta and Tuscany.

John Humphrey has spent most of his working life in the fields of positive psychology and mental wellbeing. He is an established lecturer and writer on these subjects, books include ‘Coaching for Resilience’ published by Kogan Page.
