Gruppo Ricerca Foto-Terapia

The Photo-Therapy Research Group (GRIFO: Gruppo Ricerca Foto-Terapia) is an interdisciplinary group composed of people who are interested in "PhotographicActs" as a training, therapeutic, rehabilitative, expressive, ludic, relational and pedagogical tool.

GRIFO was founded in Ancona in 2002 as a natural result of the informal meetings of the participants of the various Photo-Therapy projects conducted by Ayres Marques in the Marche Region in Central Italy.

This Research Group, now linked to the Ponte Blu Association, aims to facilitate the exchange of information, experiences and ideas in the field of Photo-Therapy.

The group is composed not only of professional figures such as photographers, psychologists, educators, animators, artists and psychiatrists, but also embraces people who simply use Photography, sometimes in purely individual ways, as a mean of personal-social development.
